Easy Kamote Suman Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg kamote, grated

  • ½ cup coconut milk

  • 1/3 cup young coconut, grated

  • 1 cup powdered pilit (malagkit)

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • Banana leaves

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. In a pot, cook the grated kamote with coconut milk and sugar.

  2. Remove from heat then add the young coconut and powdered pilit (malagkit).

  3. Mix well and wrap the mixture in banana leaves.

  4. Place in a steamer and steam for 10 to 15 minutes or until cooked.

  5. Remove from steamer and serve. Enjoy!
